At High Street Shoe Repair, we’ve been serving Salem since 1990 — a shoe and boot repair shop has operated at our location since 1926. With decades of experience behind our bench, we’ve become a trusted resource for repairing Danner duty boots, Danner hiking boots, and Danner work boots for customers across the Willamette Valley and beyond.
For years, local fire departments, police departments, EMTs, and first responders have relied on us to keep their Danners in top condition. We also repair Danner hiking boots, mountain boots, and work boots for everyday customers who depend on their footwear.

Q: Do you use original Vibram soles ?
A: We use original, made in the USA Vibram soles on all our Danner repairs, the same soles you find on new Danner boots. The most common are the Kletterlift, the Sierra, and the Montagna.
Q: Do you carry the Danner “Bob” soles ?
A:Sorry, those are a Danner proprietary sole. We can substitute the Vibram Kletterlift or the Vibram Sierra, though.
Q: Does the adhesive ever separate during wet, snowy weather?
A: We resole many shoes and boots: locally, and over the internet. Here in western Oregon, we get alot of rain (50+ inches per year), especially during the wet season. If our adhesives didn’t work in wet weather, we wouldn’t be in business.

Q: What about the Sierra sole, and do you have the various colors?
A: The Vibram Sierra sole is similar to the Kletterlift, just a little bit thicker. They have a lug pattern, but the lugs are arranged a little different.
Q: My Danners are overworn, can you still resole them?
Some can be re-soled, some cannot. We are happy to look at your boots.
Q: What about GTX and TFX soles, can you repair those ?
Sorry, we no longer resole the GTX, TFX or similiar boots. We only resole, locally, the US made stitchdown designed boots.
Q: Can I ship my Danner boots to you?
