We use the finest Vibram soles available to recraft your Blundstones, restoring them to better than factory new condition. We do quite a few of these for our local customers, their repeat business and feedback is testament to our success working with and repairing Blundstone boots.
Blundstone Resole Options
These soles are made of the Vibram Gumlite, a dense but cushioned material similar to original Blundstone soles.
Vibram 1705 soles
Most popular! VIBRAM 1705 made of Gumlite, a soft and cushioned material similar in density to original Blundstone soles. The 1705 has a lug pattern that offers more traction than the 1716. The deep lugs give excellent gripping power.
Vibram 1716
Low-Profile, Dress-Friendly Option: Also made from Gumlite, this sole provides a smoother, slimmer profile—perfect for a more refined or dress-oriented look. Many customers also prefer this style for riding with stirrups, thanks to its balanced shape and reduced lug depth.
Vibram 1752
Another smooth profile, but a little thicker than the 1716. Also has a little higher heel.

Q: The Blundstone website states that it is not practical to replace/repair the soles. Have you had much feedback from customers getting this done?
A: We have re-soled thousands of Blundstones, no problems. Many new shoe companies discourage repairing their shoes, why fix the old ones when you could just buy a new pair? Hmm.. People even say their repaired shoes are more comfortable than before, probably because the re-soling process brings the heels and soles back to an even level, much like new shoes.
Q: How much new life does the new Vibram sole add?
A: The new soles are not the hard type of Vibram soles that many people are familiar with. They are lightweight, a little soft and cushioned, but very durable. You’ll probably get the same or more wear out of them that you got out of your first soles.
Q: Does the adhesive ever separate during wet, snowy weather?
A: We resole many shoes, locally, and over the internet. Here in western Oregon, we get alot of rain (50+ inches per year), especially during the wet season. If our adhesives didn’t work in wet weather, we wouldn’t be in business.
Q: Do you ship internationally?
Sorry, we only ship within the USA.
Q: How do I start this process?
Print and complete our shipping form . Take your boots and the shipping form to your nearest US Post Office and ship them to us. We’ll take care of the rest! The easiest way for most people to ship to us is to go to the Post Office and ask for a large Priority Mail “Tyvek” envelope. These are usually fine for one pair. They also have free boxes if you are sending more than that. The Post Office’s Priority Mail is very fast and efficient, we use it all the time and typically see a 2-4 day shipping time within the USA.
